Rebecca looked back at him, breathing hard. "You’re still holding back?"
"I am." He kissed the side of her neck. "I want more of you. I want to feel you longer."
He carefully lifted her off him. His cock left her with a soft, wet sound. Then he guided her onto her hands and knees on the bed. Rebecca moved without resistance, looking back at him over her shoulder.
Kaden moved behind her. He ran his hands slowly over her back, her hips, the soft curve of her ass. Then he leaned down and pressed a kiss between her shoulder blades.
"You’re so beautiful like this," he murmured. "My wife. Mine."
Rebecca’s breath caught. "Then take me."
He guided himself back to her entrance and pushed in slowly from behind. Both of them groaned as he filled her again. He stayed still for a moment, hands resting on her hips, letting her feel every inch of him.
"I love the way you take me," he said, voice soft but full of heat. "You feel like you were made for me."
Rebecca pushed back against him. "Then move. Please."
Kaden began to thrust, deep and steady. The new angle made her cry out softly with every stroke. He kept one hand on her hip and reached around with the other to cup her breast, his thumb brushing over her nipple.
"Talk to me," he said between thrusts. "Tell me how it feels."
"It feels... so good," she breathed. "Deeper. You feel so deep like this."
He leaned over her back, chest pressed against her, and kissed the side of her neck. "I love you," he whispered against her skin. "I’ve waited so long for this night."
"I love you too," she answered, the words coming easily under the spell.
Kaden’s thrusts grew a little harder. He kept talking to her between strokes, soft, romantic words mixed with low groans of pleasure.
"You’re perfect... so warm... so wet for me... my beautiful wife..."
Rebecca moaned and pushed back to meet every thrust. "Don’t stop... please don’t stop..."
After several long minutes, he slowed again. He pulled out carefully, then guided her down onto her side. He lay behind her, chest to her back, and lifted her top leg. He entered her once more from behind in a spooning position, sliding in deep and smooth.
Rebecca sighed as he filled her. Kaden wrapped one arm around her waist and held her close. His other hand found hers, lacing their fingers together.
He began to move slowly, deep, gentle strokes that made her tremble.
"This feels right," he murmured against her hair. "Holding you like this... being inside you... I never want to leave this bed."
Rebecca turned her head slightly so she could look at him. "I love you."
He kissed her temple, then her cheek, then the corner of her mouth. "I love you too, baby, and I’m not going anywhere. You’re mine now. Forever."
Their bodies moved together in a slow, intimate rhythm. Soft, wet sounds filled the quiet room. Kaden kept whispering against her skin, telling her how much he loved her, how perfect she felt, how long he had waited for this moment. Rebecca answered him with soft moans and quiet words of love, her hand holding his tightly.
The pleasure built slowly this time, deeper and heavier. When Rebecca finally came, it rolled through her in long, warm waves. Her walls clenched around him as she moaned out. Kaden followed soon after, burying himself deep and spilling inside her with a low, broken groan, holding her tightly against his chest.
They stayed joined, breathing hard, bodies soft and spent.
Kaden pressed soft kisses along her shoulder and the back of her neck.
"I love you," he said quietly.
"I love you too," she answered.
The old connection still hummed between them; both could feel it but didn’t understand it.
After the last waves of pleasure faded, Kaden carefully pulled out of her. A soft trickle of mixed fluids followed. He rolled onto his back and gently pulled Rebecca against his chest. She rested her head on his shoulder while he reached for the soft cover and drew it over both of them.
For a few quiet moments they simply lay there, breathing together. His fingers traced slow circles on her bare arm.
"I want to mark you," Kaden said softly after a while. "But not tonight. You’re already tired, and I want it to be perfect when I do it. Maybe tomorrow... or the day after."
Rebecca lifted her head a little and looked at him. Under the spell, she still saw Melvin’s face, but the words confused her.
"Mark me?" she repeated. "You’ve never talked about marking before."
Kaden’s brows drew together slightly. "Of course I have. We’ve spoken about it more than once. You must have forgotten."
Rebecca stayed quiet for a second. She searched her memory. Melvin had never mentioned marking. Not once. Yet the man holding her spoke as if it was something they had already planned. 𝖿𝖗ⅇℴ𝑚
"Maybe..." she said slowly. "Maybe you told me one of those times I wasn’t really paying attention. I don’t remember it clearly."
Kaden kissed the top of her head. "It’s alright. We’ll talk about it properly tomorrow. There’s no rush."
She settled back against his chest, but a small frown stayed on her face. The confusion lingered.
After another moment of silence, Kaden spoke again, his voice low and thoughtful.
"You know... I thought you would be more shy tonight. I expected you to be nervous, maybe even a little inexperienced. But you weren’t. Not at all."
Rebecca turned her head to look up at him. "Why would you think I was inexperienced?"
Kaden opened his mouth, then closed it again. The question caught him off guard. In his mind, he was speaking to Rola, the shy princess who blushed at almost everything. Yet the woman in his arms had moved with confidence and clear experience. The contradiction sat uncomfortably in his chest.
He pushed the thought away.
"Forget it," he said quietly. "It doesn’t matter. Let’s not talk about that."
Rebecca studied his face for a second longer, then nodded and rested her head on his shoulder again.
A soft smile touched her lips. "It was really good," she said.
Kaden chuckled under his breath. "Yes, it was good. Should I say you fuck like a goddess?"
Rebecca laughed softly against his chest.
He tightened his arm around her and added, voice lower, "But that still wasn’t me at my best. I was holding back the whole time. I wanted to go gentle on you."
Rebecca lifted her head again, eyes shining with amusement and desire. "Really?"
"Really."
She smiled wider and pressed a light kiss to his chest. "Then I can’t wait to feel you at your best."
Kaden turned his head and kissed her forehead. "Prepare not to walk properly for days."
They both laughed softly, and the quiet room settled back into a heavy, peaceful stillness.
Kaden held her close against his chest, his chin resting against the top of her head. He let out a long, contented breath, feeling a deep, ancient sense of completion that he couldn’t quite explain.
"I love you," Kaden murmured into the quiet darkness, his voice low, thick, and filled with a tender reverence. "And I will make you so happy, I promise."
Under the heavy veil of the spell, Rebecca smiled, resting her cheek against his warm, steady heartbeat.
"I know," she whispered softly.
For a while, neither of them spoke. Kaden held her close, his fingers moving slowly across her bare back as she rested comfortably in his arms.
Rebecca was already beginning to drift off when something suddenly caught her attention.
It wasn’t the fact that he was touching her back. It was the way his fingers moved, slowly drawing small patterns against her skin.
Her heart gave a strange little jump.
She knew that touch.
Kaden used to do the exact same thing whenever they lay together. He would absentmindedly draw little circles and patterns across her back, sometimes for hours, especially when he thought she was asleep.
Rebecca swallowed hard, her throat tightening as a cold, inexplicable wave of unease washed over her. She shook her head against his chest, closing her eyes tightly to banish the thought.
No, she told herself firmly, squeezing her eyes shut. Stop it, Rebecca. That’s in the past. You are with Melvin now.
She pressed herself closer to his chest and closed her eyes again, determined not to let thoughts of her past ruin the happiest night of her life.
But Kaden was having a similar problem.
As he held the woman he believed was Rola, there was something strangely familiar about the way her body rested against his. The warmth of her skin, the way she fit against his chest, and even the way she moved closer whenever his fingers brushed her back reminded him of someone he had once known intimately.
Rebecca.
The name appeared in his mind so suddenly that his fingers stopped moving.
For a moment, he simply stared at the woman sleeping against him.
There was something about her body that reminded him so much of Rebecca. Something he couldn’t explain, no matter how hard he tried.
His palm rested over the curve of her hip, feeling the soft, supple shape of her body beneath his touch. A strange, haunting memory flickered in the back of his mind. The shape of her hips, the scent of her skin, the way her body fit so perfectly against his—it felt so unmistakably like Rebecca.
Kaden’s jaw tightened. A sharp pang of guilt slammed into his chest, and his wolf stirred uncomfortably inside him.
Stop it, Kaden, he scolded himself harshly in his mind. Don’t do that to Rola. She is your wife now.
He loved Rola, and tonight he’d finally married her. There was absolutely no reason for his mind to wander back to a woman who was no longer part of his life.
Kaden lowered his head and kissed the top of her hair.
"Goodnight, my love," he whispered.
Rebecca made a sleepy sound against his chest but didn’t open her eyes.
He smiled, tightened his arm around her, and finally allowed sleep to pull him under.
As the night went on, the ancient black crystal hidden in the central garden began to lose its power. It glowed one last time before breaking into tiny pieces that disappeared into the air.
At that moment, the powerful spell covering the entire estate finally broke, and everyone returned to seeing things as they really were.
The following morning, sunlight slipped through the curtains and fell across the enormous bed.
Kaden stirred slightly before slowly opening his eyes. For a moment, he remained still, enjoying the warmth of the woman lying against his chest.
A smile spread across his face as memories of the previous day returned.
He was married.
Rola was finally his wife.
He lowered his gaze toward the woman resting peacefully against him, intending to wake her with a gentle kiss.
But the moment he looked at her, his smile disappeared.
His entire body went rigid.
The woman sleeping against his chest didn’t have Rola’s beautiful silver-blonde hair.
Instead, long chocolate-brown curls were scattered across his arm and the pillow.
Kaden froze.
His eyes widened as he stared at the familiar hair, his heart suddenly pounding against his ribs.
Slowly, he lowered his gaze toward her face.
And what he saw made his blood run cold.
