Vanessa drove fast enough to make Arthur grip the door handle as she weaved through the morning traffic.
"Relax, stud. I’ve never crashed. Well, not badly," she joked as they closed in on the college.
"That’s not as reassuring as you think it is."
She laughed and pulled up right in front of the university gates, stopping with a little screech of tires. "There you go. On time and everything."
Arthur grabbed his bag and paused at the door. "Thanks for the ride, and..."
"Everything else..." she finished for him, licking her plump lips slowly as she winked, her eyes falling down to his crotch. "Go on, before you’re late."
He rushed off toward his class, and Vanessa watched him go for a moment, a small, satisfied smile on her lips. Then she parked the car properly, pulled out her phone, and sent a message.
[Vanessa: I’m on campus. Come find me when you’re free.]
[Vanessa: I just want to talk for a bit since I have some free time. Nothing serious, so don’t worry.]
She added the second message so she wouldn’t worry her anxiety-prone friend. Iris replied a little later, saying they could meet in her office once she finished giving her lecture.
Vanessa used the extra time to buy a chocolate bar as a little present for her friend. Then she grabbed her notebook from her car, settled onto a bench near the faculty building, crossed her legs, and waited.
Even though she had some free time that week, work always called, so she used the opportunity to get ahead on a few things she needed to take care of.
One thing she quickly noticed was that she was getting quite a few stares, especially from men. The attention from the younger college students flattered her. Two guys even came over to talk to her, only to be promptly rejected.
It seems like my looks can still turn as many heads as they did when I was younger, she thought with a smirk as she closed her computer. Just then, Iris sent her a message telling her to come meet her.
The blonde woman headed to the reception desk, where they let her in once the teacher confirmed that she was expecting her. Soon, Vanessa was standing outside her friend’s office.
"Why are you here?" Iris asked as soon as her friend stepped inside, her eyes studying her suspiciously.
"Missed your face." Vanessa smiled, stood up, and looped her arm through Iris’s.
Once they were both settled, Vanessa gave her friend the present, and for the first few minutes, their conversation was perfectly ordinary.
The two old friends quickly fell back into their familiar rhythm, trading stories about their daily lives and catching up on everything that had happened since they last talked.
"So," Vanessa finally decided to drop the bomb with an absolutely casual tone. "Have you fucked Arthur yet?"
Iris choked on air. Her face went red in an instant, and she sputtered, "W-what?! Vanessa!"
The blond milf burst out laughing, loud and delighted, at her friend’s reaction. "Oh, that face! I had to ask."
"Vanessa!" Iris repeated, scandalized.
"Don’t worry, I’m guilty too," Vanessa admitted, waving a hand. "Even if I haven’t gone all the way through yet." She leaned forward, eyes glittering. "So? How was taking that big cock in your pussy?"
Iris’s blush deepened to a shade Vanessa hadn’t seen on her in years. "Don’t... don’t you think it’s wrong?"
Vanessa rolled her eyes dramatically. "Don’t you think you’re past the point of asking that kind of question? Anyway, where’s the harm in having some fun?"
"But..." Iris hesitated.
"Look, I won’t tell you what to do," Vanessa said, her tone softening just a fraction. "But I will have fun with Arthur. Unless you have a problem with that."
Iris blinked in shock at the provocation. It was exactly the type of bratty teasing behavior she expected of Vanessa, but still, seeing her acting like that over Arthur was... unique, almost nostalgic.
"Are you trying to make me feel jealous?" Iris grinned, suppressing a chuckle. "Because it’s definitely not working."
It was a bit surprising. But maybe, because she’d never hoped to have Arthur all to herself, Iris didn’t feel jealous hearing it.
Actually, all she felt was her body burning thinking of him fucking her, and then her friend. And she also felt a bit of happiness.
Vanessa had many flaws, but she was a beautiful, experienced woman, and she knew how to be responsible when it really mattered. Arthur getting closer to her was good for him.
She was probably a better casual partner than Iris, who was a mess. Besides, Vanessa was loaded with money, while Iris was on the brink of losing her job.
And speaking of her job... Iris tensed. Maybe the reason for her friend’s visit was that she’d found out. Maybe Arthur had told her about it, maybe even about the principal, Gerald.
The last thing Iris wanted was to drag Vanessa into her problems. Even if the blond woman was rich, she had no obligation to help others.
Iris firmly believed that for a friendship to survive, people had to be on equal terms. So she needed to get through the hardships of life by herself.
"If this is about my job, I’m fine!" she said fiercely.
Now it was Vanessa’s turn to blink in shock, completely unaware of what Iris could even be talking about.
Her job? Vanessa’s mind raced. So Iris was in trouble at work? Maybe about to be fired, or something like that. Vanessa was not sure, but she had some good guesses.
The blonde woman smiled, thinking that Iris must be worried Arthur had told her something. That probably meant that, whatever problems she was facing, she had already talked to Arthur about them. Well, if he knew, then everything must be fine.
Vanessa studied her friend for a moment, then made a decision. She wouldn’t push. Iris was proud, and forcing help on her would only wound that pride.
The teacher needed to learn how to ask for help on her own terms. And besides, Vanessa trusted Arthur completely. Whatever problem Iris had, he would take care of her.
"Don’t worry," Vanessa said gently, "Arthur told me nothing. Whatever it is, it stays between you two."
Iris relaxed a fraction, though her eyes were still wary.
"Actually," Vanessa continued, switching back to her usual bright tone, "I came here to talk about something else." She smiled, pulling out her phone and showing a picture of a bottle of champagne. "I’m in need of a partner to drink it. Do you want to come to my house tonight?"
Iris looked at the screen, and despite herself, her mouth watered. It was obvious her answer was yes.
"And," Vanessa added, "if you get your things sorted out with Arthur, I’m down for a double date. Like the old times."
"Wouldn’t we need one more guy if we’re going to do things like old times?" Iris asked, chuckling, her tone obviously ironic.
"Arthur is worth more than two average guys combined," Vanessa smiled. "So it’ll be fine."
Iris laughed too, agreeing with her friend.
"Now, I need to go. See you later."
"I haven’t even given you my answer yet!" Iris protested, but her smile betrayed her true intentions.
It was obvious she would join them for drinks. As for the date invitation, it would probably be a lot of fun, but still... For the moment, Iris hesitated, still feeling guilty and afraid that she was falling in love with Arthur.

Meanwhile, Arthur had classes normally, and another professor decided to give him a group assignment. Of course, he and Alan would be together, but the project would be in trios, so they needed one more person.
Alan, in particular, looked around in despair, noticing everyone else had already formed groups. And it was at that moment that a cute blonde approached both of them.
"I see you still need one more person for your group," she commented.
"Yeah..." Arthur scratched the back of his neck. "What about you?"
"Well," Kat glanced behind her at the many girls who wanted to form a group with her.
The problem was that her friend group had seven people, so one would be left out. Not to mention all six of her friends wanted to be the duo that would form a trio with her. Not that they were directly fighting for the spot, but Kat could feel the tension in the air.
"Can I join your group?" she finally asked. "It solves your problem, and working with both of you hasn’t been bad so..."
"I thought you would rather die than work with me?" Arthur provoked her.
Kat blushed and clenched her fist in annoyance. "I’m sorry I said that, okay!" She spoke loudly enough that even people in the class besides them probably heard her.
Alan almost had a heart attack as all eyes in class turned to them, and Arthur simply chuckled.
"Okay, let’s make a trio," he offered her a handshake.
Kat accepted, pouting, "It’s easier to keep the same group I’m already working with on other projects," she said so her classmates, especially her friend, could listen.
Then she turned to the six girls left behind and told them that, with that, the problem was solved. And they naturally separated into two trios.
