Ye Tianfan had no intention of giving this humanoid outer-wall creature any chance to catch its breath. He walked toward it step by step. Of course, this humanoid outer-wall creature didn't need to catch its breath—Ye Tianfan even believed it didn't need to breathe at all!
At this moment, the humanoid outer-wall creature showed not the slightest panic. After all, it had no emotions, so it would never feel panic. Whether in speed or strength, Ye Tianfan was no match for it. The only thing Ye Tianfan could rely on was his technique—one move that could enhance the power of his fist!
After the humanoid outer-wall creature hit the ground, it sprang up quickly—but too late. Ye Tianfan still seized the opening. His right hand moved as fast as lightning and slammed fiercely onto the creature's chest, right where a human heart would be.
Although Ye Tianfan knew this humanoid outer-wall creature had no heart, he also knew that in place of a heart, it had a core!
So Ye Tianfan believed that by striking this spot, he would definitely inflict heavy damage on the humanoid outer-wall creature!
"Clang!"
After being struck in the chest by Ye Tianfan, the humanoid outer-wall creature's entire body jerked violently. In an instant, all the strength in its body vanished without a trace!
Then the humanoid outer-wall creature limply toppled backward, and at that very moment, Ye Tianfan felt that the Spiritual Power within his body was once again starting to flow slowly. He also discovered that not only could he now use his Spiritual Power, he could even connect to the Chaos Treasure Lotus in the sky!
Taking advantage of being able to use his Spiritual Power, Ye Tianfan immediately circulated it through himself and summoned the Fire Lotus Sword. Then, with a sudden burst from his feet, he charged straight at the humanoid outer-wall creature. Red light began to flicker across the sword's blade!
When Ye Tianfan's figure reappeared, he was already beside the humanoid outer-wall creature, having flashed across the distance. Gripping the Fire Lotus Sword, its blade shrouded in red light, he tightened his hold. A surge of force, like an erupting lava flow, gathered and he hacked down viciously at the creature. In that instant, Ye Tianfan's eyes were filled with steely resolve.
At the same time, the Primordial True Person also summoned the Carefree Sword, standing guard to one side so that Ye Tianfan wouldn't run into any danger!
"Boom!"
The Fire Lotus Sword smashed heavily into the humanoid outer-wall creature's body, yet Ye Tianfan's expression showed little joy; instead, it was somewhat grave. Because in Ye Tianfan's perception, the creature was directly annihilated the moment the Fire Lotus Sword struck down!
In other words, Ye Tianfan had just unleashed the strongest move he could currently muster—and in the end, he had effortlessly wiped out this humanoid outer-wall creature. The ease of it left Ye Tianfan feeling a bit of dissonance. According to his expectations, although the humanoid outer-wall creature couldn't resist, he should have only crippled it. Yet the final result was far too easy!
Even though that one strike directly annihilated the humanoid outer-wall creature, Ye Tianfan didn't believe it would be destroyed so easily. He was certain it would still revive!
Just as Ye Tianfan destroyed the humanoid outer-wall creature, a streak of black suddenly flickered before his eyes. The instant the shadow flashed past, Ye Tianfan instinctively raised the Fire Lotus Sword in front of him to block—it was a reflex!
Right as Ye Tianfan lifted the Fire Lotus Sword to shield himself, he saw a massive tail smash down hard onto the blade. In that instant, Ye Tianfan was sent flying like a kicked ball!
"Tss, that hurts!" The intense pain surging through his body made Ye Tianfan reflexively curl up in midair. It even forced a small mouthful of blood from him. He slammed his feet down hard onto the ground, only then managing to steady his staggering frame.
"Pff…" Feeling his hands trembling uncontrollably, Ye Tianfan knew that if he hadn't used the Fire Lotus Sword to block in time just now, he would have been at best severely injured, at worst on the brink of death.
"Looks like another troublesome opponent has arrived." Wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, Ye Tianfan gave a bitter smile in his heart.
In Ye Tianfan's view, his own strength wasn't too far off from that of this serpent-like outer-wall creature split off by the slender Big Fireworks. But this serpent-like outer-wall creature's abilities were extremely bizarre. For now, Ye Tianfan still had no way to determine just what this serpent-like outer-wall creature's ability really was.
But just from the force of that tail strike just now, Ye Tianfan knew this was another opponent whose strength was on par with that humanoid outer-wall creature from before!
Of course, Ye Tianfan didn't feel he had no chance. Although the serpent-like creature was very agile, Ye Tianfan felt it had no mind of its own. Its body might be nimble, but that was only instinct. Without the ability to think, it was ultimately weak!
"You alright?" The Primordial True Person flew over to Ye Tianfan's side and asked.
"I'm fine." Ye Tianfan shook his head, his gaze anxiously fixed beyond the Energy Shield formed by the Chaos Treasure Lotus, where that utterly mysterious slender Big Fireworks still lingered.
Right now, Ye Tianfan felt utterly at a loss. He had no idea what that slender Big Fireworks was really trying to do. All he knew was that if it truly wanted to kill them, it had just had a perfect opportunity. Yet now, that slender Big Fireworks seemed completely unconcerned about that chance.
It was baffling—what exactly did that slender Big Fireworks intend to do?
"What now? Even though the serpent-like outer-wall creature can't kill us, with its speed, stopping us seems not
difficult at all." Ye Tianfan said with a bitter smile. "I can't shake the feeling that this slender Big Fireworks is plotting something. Otherwise, it wouldn't ignore so many perfect chances to strike!"
Hearing Ye Tianfan's words, the Primordial True Person fell silent for a moment. By all logic, that slender Big Fireworks had previously been impatient to kill him, and the killing intent coming off it had been anything but fake. So the Primordial True Person did not believe this slender Big Fireworks would simply let them go.
But now even the Primordial True Person felt confused. What was this slender Big Fireworks really after? To throw away so many chances—it was practically toying with them!
This couldn't help but set the Primordial True Person thinking, while he let Ye Tianfan focus on dealing with the serpent-like outer-wall creature. After all, that serpent-like outer-wall creature was just slightly stronger than Ye Tianfan, making it a good opportunity. As for the Primordial True Person, he would use this time to stay wary of the slender Big Fireworks while pondering just what that slender Big Fireworks truly wanted to do!
