In a certain hospital.
Henry Chase has been accompanying Joanna Sawyer these past days, like a buddy, getting her snacks, telling her jokes. Even though Joanna finds him a bit childish, he still loves doing it.
"Henry, aren’t you tired?" The girl leaned against the headboard; she was laughing so much she was tired.
"Not tired, not tired." Henry liked her, had liked her since they were kids, and thus always acted talkative around her.
"Isn’t your family busy? You’re here with me all the time."
"Not busy, not busy."
Just then, the door was gently pushed open, and Jerry Garcia came in holding a can. He didn’t expect the boy to still be there.
Henry turned his gaze, the gazes of the two men met once more.
Henry’s smile faded; suddenly, he had a sense of crisis. Could this guy be a rival in love? An employee at the Kingston Group, a favored man before CEO Kingston, handsome, and always making canned food!
"Miss Bibi, I happened to pass by, so I thought I’d come see you and brought you some canned food."
Jerry glanced at the boy, then focused back on the girl and asked, "Did the doctor say when you can be discharged?"
Henry thought to himself, passing by? With canned food!
"In the next couple of days, it’s much better now, thank you, Special Assistant Garcia." Joanna smiled with shallow dimples on her cheeks.
Jerry placed the can on the bedside cabinet and noticed Henry was still watching him, their gazes meeting once again.
Jerry glanced again at the girl leaning against the headboard and asked, "Is he your boyfriend?"
"Yes."
"No."
Both answered almost simultaneously.
This left Jerry stunned for a moment, looking at her, then him, before smiling. He understood something.
"I’ll leave first, get in touch after you’re discharged, you’re always welcome at the company." After speaking, Jerry turned and left.
Leo Chase felt quite uneasy but said nothing, after all, he and Joanna hadn’t started dating.
"Joanna Sawyer, when will you agree to be my girlfriend?" He felt insecure and brought up the topic again.
The girl took the can, opened it, forked out a piece, and tasted a bit. "Why is it this question again? Haven’t I answered it eight hundred times? We’re just friends, and we can only be friends. We grew up together; we’re as close as family, like holding your own hand, how could we date?"
Leo felt dejected, "Precisely because we know each other so well, you know I’m not a jerk! I’m reliable! That’s better than anything!"
"Hold it, hold it, let’s change the topic! Or I won’t talk to you!"

A few days later, the voting results for the lead actress of the auditions were out. The first place is undoubtedly Angel, the second is Erin Yates, and the third is Deborah.
This result was within Angel’s expectations, and her votes were three times that of second place Erin, showing strong fan support.
When Justin Kingston and the project’s person in charge saw this data, they were undeniably shocked. Such a big difference?
It seems that fans are indeed a powerful group that can’t be ignored.
However, based on feeling alone, second place Erin is still the most fitting for the female role, whether in appearance or vibe, she is like a sunflower girl.
These three actresses were scheduled to meet with the producer at Kingston Group at three in the afternoon today.
Everyone needs to go through in-person interviews to decide who will play the lead, who will be the second, the third, and discuss remuneration, then sign the contracts.
All professionals will evaluate and score them, and Justin Kingston will also be present.
