Chapter 1903 - Chapter 1903: Your Name Is Abby Sawyer?

Normally she looked quite calm and aloof, but in front of CEO Kingston, she turned into a little fangirl all the same.

Angel didn’t know why CEO Kingston wanted to see her, but she was kind of looking forward to it.

Anyway, the contract was already signed; this collaboration was a done deal.

Soon, the car stopped at the company entrance. Before getting out, Angel said to the assistant beside her, "Wait for me in the car, no need to come along."

"Okay."

Abby Sawyer watched Angel hop happily out of the car and twist her waist as she hurried inside. She was probably already dying to go up, right?

After taking the elevator upstairs, Angel quickly arrived at the door of the president’s office.

She adjusted her mood, put on her most beautiful smile, then reached out and knocked on the half?open door. "CEO Kingston, Special Assistant Garcia, I’m here!"

She sashayed in, her gaze filled with infatuation as she looked at the man in the suit not far away. "CEO Kingston."

Jerry Garcia, seeing she was alone, paused slightly and asked, "Where’s your assistant?"

Angel’s smiling eyes skimmed over Jerry Garcia and fell back on CEO Kingston. She answered with a smile, "She’s waiting for me downstairs."

She took a few steps forward and stopped in front of CEO Kingston, asking in a sweet voice, "What did you need me for, CEO Kingston?"

"I want to see your assistant." Justin Kingston sat up straight, expression indifferent, thin lips parting lightly.

The smile on Angel’s face froze a little. What? See the assistant? Her heart was full of surprise. "You want to see her... what for?" She was just a nobody, a newcomer assistant.

And Justin Kingston never liked repeating himself. He also believed he’d made himself clear just now, his cool gaze fixed on her.

Waiting for her to act.

Jerry Garcia didn’t say anything either.

A few seconds later, Angel’s smile returned. "Okay, I’ll call her right away." As she spoke, she took out her phone and dialed a number, even though she really didn’t want to inside.

Right in front of CEO Kingston, after the call connected, she still used a relatively soft tone with the girl. "Abby, come up for a bit, CEO Kingston wants to see you."

Sitting in the car, Abby Sawyer was full of confusion. CEO Kingston?? See her? See her for what?

"Oh, okay."

Although she had no idea what was going on, why the famous top dog of the Kingston Group wanted to see her—there was absolutely no reason.

Even so, she immediately opened the door, got out of the car, and headed into the lobby.

Meanwhile, in the sleek and elegant president’s office, Justin Kingston had just clearly heard the word "Abby" come out of Angel’s mouth. He didn’t ask anything.

He was just still thinking: if that girl was Abby Sawyer, then why didn’t she recognize Tess Tate?

They’d been such good friends in high school; it didn’t make sense.

Very soon, the girl appeared at the door of the president’s office.

Her skin was like polished jade, brows like distant mountains, eyes like rippling water, her face carrying a kind of natural coolness.

Seeing Angel inside, she stepped in.

She had already met Special Assistant Garcia, so her gaze landed on Justin Kingston’s face, meeting his eyes head?on. Her long black hair was sleek and well?kept.

"This is CEO Kingston," Angel introduced with a smile.

The girl came back to herself. "Hello, CEO Kingston."

"Your name is Abby Sawyer?" Justin Kingston’s voice was gentle as he stared at the face that was exactly the same as in the photos. Inside, he was very pleased and also a bit shaken.

The girl nodded. "Yes." She wasn’t afraid at all, even though the man in front of her was CEO Kingston, because she hadn’t done anything wrong. That calm ease beneath her poise really wasn’t something just anyone had.

At this moment, Angel couldn’t help feeling flustered inside, maybe because CEO Kingston’s aura was too strong.
