Chapter 1630 - Chapter 1630: Thomas! You Really Hit the Jackpot

Thomas Fisher’s words drew a dissatisfied look from Autumn York, but everyone else was very happy, especially the three other elders. They nodded eagerly, hoping to soon embrace the couple’s child.

Alice Turner usually appears like a strong woman, but in the face of such matters, she still shyly lowered her head.

"Auntie! Why is your face so red?"

Rosie Thompson, sitting on the other side of Alice Turner, seemed to discover something amusing. She raised her small finger, pointing at Alice Turner’s flushed cheeks.

As soon as Rosie spoke, everyone’s eyes subconsciously turned to Alice Turner. As she noticed the gaze of others, her cheeks grew even hotter, hot enough to fry an egg.

"I’m going to the restroom."

Feeling awkward being stared at, Alice Turner pulled her hand away from Thomas Fisher’s, got up, and hastily left the dining room, heading straight for the restroom to soothe her embarrassment on her own.

Seeing Alice Turner rush off in embarrassment, Sophia Wood chuckled, "This is the first time I’ve seen our Alice acting like this. Thomas, you’re lucky!"

This is the demeanor a woman in love should have. Her eldest daughter truly loves this young man and thoroughly enjoys his love.

Five years ago, they made a mistake. They shouldn’t have forced their daughter to marry someone she didn’t love, causing her to be so passive and disliked by her current mother-in-law.

The current state of their eldest daughter is entirely their responsibility as parents, and they must find ways to make amends to her.

"Mom! I knew five years ago that I was lucky. I will cherish Alice for life, so you and Dad can rest assured," Thomas Fisher understood the deeper meaning of Sophia’s words and earnestly addressed Sophia and Christopher Turner.

Upon hearing his son’s words, Cedric Fisher realized the sincerity and quickly chimed in, "In-laws! You can rest assured, we only have Thomas as our child, and once Alice joins our family, we will treat her as our daughter."

Alice is such a wonderful daughter-in-law, not only is their son lucky, but the entire Fisher Family is fortunate.

"Leaving Alice to Thomas, we are indeed reassured. From now on, Alice is your daughter, and Thomas is our son." Seeing Cedric Fisher express himself, Christopher Turner didn’t want to fall behind; he effortlessly shared his thoughts.

He considered himself truly blessed, with two exceptional sons-in-law making him joyous even in dreams.

Cedric Fisher chuckled, raised his wine glass, "Cheers to us gaining a son and daughter respectively."

"Cheers!"

Christopher Turner immediately lifted his wine glass and clinked it joyfully with Cedric Fisher’s glass.

After the two fathers clinked glasses, they smiled at each other and simultaneously raised their heads, finishing the wine in their glasses.

Seeing Christopher Turner and Cedric Fisher get along harmoniously, Lily Turner let out a low, barely audible sigh. Her father and father-in-law had never shared a drink or conversed happily like this.

Although Lily Turner tried to make her sigh as subtle as possible, Easton Holmes, with his keen hearing, noticed it. He understood exactly what she was sighing about.

The harmonious interaction between the elders of the families was a bittersweet scene for her, and equally melancholy for him.

When they were married, they failed to bring their family elders together in such joyful union, a regret they would carry throughout their lives.
