Chapter 1884 - Chapter 1884: Let's Make a Deal

Although she rarely updates her status, he has been following her for ten years. It has become a habit. He remembers every post she made. Because he’s seen them so many times, he’s unknowingly memorized them.

But what does memorizing them accomplish? They’re like a curse.

Unknowingly, dawn has broken.

Anton Miller doesn’t plan to go to the club today. Not having slept well, he has no mood for it and feels instantly weary.

Around seven in the morning, his phone rings, and it’s a call from Justin Kingston.

He answers without speaking, and Justin asks him, “Where are you?”

“At home.” His voice still carries a hint of exhaustion.

“Going to the club?” Justin says, “I have something to come over for you.”

“Not going, why are you looking for me?” Lin Mo casually asks.

But Justin doesn’t answer; he hangs up and drives to his house.

Until about ten minutes later, that unique Lamborghini pulls into the driveway of Anton Miller’s villa.

He actually came? What could it be so early in the morning?

Anton Miller has no clue. In his pajamas, he turns and heads downstairs.

When Justin comes in, Anton Miller sees him on the stairs holding a document. Something up?

“What? Didn’t you sleep well?” Justin’s eyes fall on his face, noting the large dark circles. His mental state is clearly not good, as if he pulled an all-nighter.

Anton Miller’s mind still conjures up the image of Abby Sawyer. Although he follows her updates, there’s no trace of her, and he doesn’t know where she is.

Even if he knew, then what?

Nothing can go back to how it was.

It wasn’t until he was downstairs that Anton Miller regained his senses. His face was indeed weary. He glanced at the document in his brother’s hands and then collapsed onto the sofa. “What’s up? Why are you looking for me so early in the morning?”

“I recently bought the film rights to a book and plan to make a TV series. I want to invite you to play the male lead. Here’s the contract, take a look.” With that, Justin placed the contract on the coffee table in front of him.

But Anton Miller didn’t even have the interest to look at it. “I don’t want to mess around in the entertainment circle anymore.”

“Can’t you just do me a favor?” Justin stood by the coffee table, his gaze resting on him, hoping he’d be busy for three months, leaving him no time for a girlfriend, and changing this bad habit of moving on seamlessly.

“No help.” Anton Miller looked at him. “Why don’t you take this money and find someone else? Anyone would work with you. Who wouldn’t want to collaborate with you?”

“Only your temperament matches this role. That’s my opinion, and it’s also the opinion of the novel’s original author.” He continued to persuade.

“I refuse.”

Unmoved, Justin was silent for a few seconds, then casually sat down opposite him. “Then let’s make a deal.”

Saying so, he pulled a few photos from his pocket, placed them on the coffee table, and gently pushed them toward him, “Abby Sawyer.”

Those three words were like an electric current that hit his heart directly!

Anton Miller stared at him, then moved his eyes down to focus on the photos, his body slowly leaning forward. In the pictures, he saw the figure that haunted his dreams…

Memories were pulled back to ten years ago.

And Justin was watching him without blinking, observing his expression, grasping his internal thoughts.

Indeed, this girl is the one who holds the key.

“You’ve been investigating me?” He raised his eyes to look at Justin, his gaze carrying a hint of anger.

Justin gathered up all the photos. He didn’t answer, just stood up. “Whether you sign the contract is up to you.” With that, he turned and walked toward the door.

Anton Miller quickly got up, swiftly snatching the photos from his hand. “I agree!”
