Chapter 656 - Chapter 656 - 654: Abyssal Primalid

Chapter 656: Chapter 654: Abyssal Primalid

"Aaargh, this hurts like hell! You damn bugs, I’m gonna kill you all!"

"Hey, brother! I’ve got a Third Grade Elixir here. It can regrow severed limbs. Take it, quick!"

"Thanks. I’ll pay you back later."

"Watch out behind you...!"

The man whirled around and slashed.

A centipede with a human torso was cleaved in two.

"What the hell is this thing? It stinks."

’This is nothing like the local Demonic Beasts. So where in the world did these bugs come from?’

Seeing this, rage ignited in Celeste Grant’s heart.

’She refused to believe these bizarre-looking bugs had appeared here for no reason.’

’There had to be a reason.’

’Her first instinct was that someone was pulling the strings. She remembered how someone had deliberately tried to provoke the Immortal-Demon War. Was this Plan B after Plan A failed? It wasn’t that she was being overly suspicious; it was just that her intuition was rarely wrong.’

"Primordial Sword," she called out.

The sword hummed, then shot out to circle Celeste Grant. The bugs in the path of its frigid Sword Qi were instantly vaporized.

She held out her hand, and the sword dropped into her grasp.

Celeste gathered her Cultivation and unleashed a single strike against the human-faced moths flapping their wings before her. The wave of Sword Qi instantly wiped out a whole section of them.

’There’s no end to them. I can’t kill them all.’

’Shit... Is a cultivation-grade can of bug spray too much to ask for right now? If I’d known these things would show up, I would have researched how to make some.’

’I could really use a can of insecticide right now. Sure, these aren’t like the bugs I’m used to, but they’re still bugs.’ ⅇℓ.

Not far away, her son was even more incredible. With a single wave of his hand, countless bugs exploded into dust.

He just laughed and said,

"Hahaha, awesome."

"Bring it on... Come here, all you little critters! Mom, you should stand back. I’d hate to hit you by mistake."

Celeste glanced at him. "Alright, son. You be careful."

Aaron Sinclair gave a slight nod.

"Don’t worry... When it comes to pest control, I’m something of an expert."

"Mom, I know what these things are. They’re the Primalids. I read about them in an ancient text. They’re Abyssal Aberrations, remnants from the Ancient Times from a land beyond our realms. I have no idea why they’ve shown up here, though. It’s weird. But it doesn’t matter. Now that they’re here, they can stay. We’ll exterminate every last one of them."

’Abyssal Aberrations.’

’Celeste wasn’t familiar with the name, but it certainly sounded formidable.’

’So they really weren’t just ordinary pests.’

At this thought, she said, "I don’t care what kind of bug they are. Anything that endangers the world shouldn’t be allowed to exist. Just be careful, son."

"Got it, Mom."

Celeste flew over to Nerida’s side, moving farther away from her son.

Seeing her, Nerida asked,

"Mrs. Sheffield, are you alright?"

Celeste waved her hand dismissively.

"I’m fine..." As she spoke, she lifted her sword and hacked a black worm into dust—it had just burrowed out of the ground behind Nerida to launch a sneak attack.

Nerida glanced back and couldn’t help but curse. "These damn bugs are so crafty, launching sneak attacks like that! Thanks, Mrs. Sheffield."

"Save the talk for later. Be careful."

"Yes, Mrs. Sheffield."

They were surrounded by innumerable bugs, all covered in slime and spitting venom. For a neat freak, the scene was pure torture. ’These things are just so grotesque,’ Celeste thought. ’What kind of malformed monstrosities are they?’

’If these things showed up on Earth, they’d be captured and dissected for research in a heartbeat.’

As Celeste and Nerida fought side by side, they both suddenly sensed an incredibly powerful aura.

Celeste looked up and saw it was radiating from her son. He was hovering in mid-air, arms outstretched, with Demonic Qi coiling around his body. Innumerable bugs were being sucked toward him as if he were a vortex. ’Not even a TV show could fake special effects this good.’

The enormous, hard-shelled Abyssal Primalids were utterly annihilated the moment they drew near, without even a chance to shriek.

Nerida’s eyes widened at the sight.

"GASP... My boy is amazing."

"Aunt Anne is your number one fan, Aaron!"

Celeste nodded slightly.

"He really is powerful."

A smile spread across Celeste’s face.

’Her son is so powerful. As his mother, she felt an immense sense of pride. This was her boy, her very own son.’

They thought that was the extent of his power.

But the most jaw-dropping display was yet to come.

Aaron Sinclair hovered in the air.

He brought his hands around in a circle, his fingers forming a Sealing sign. In that instant, a glint of gold appeared in his black eyes... His power swept across both the Immortal and Demonic Realms in a flash, reaching every corner of the heavens and the earth. It wasn’t just the Demonic Domain; the Immortal Domain was blanketed as well.

For a moment, the world seemed to freeze. His power enveloped every single Abyssal Primalid, trapping them completely. It spared nothing, not even the remaining eggs in the sky or underground.

He raised his hand, gave it a gentle wave, and uttered a single word.

"Annihilate."

The moment the word left his lips, innumerable bugs instantly turned to ash and vanished.

The entire event was over in a flash. After that brief moment of stillness, the world returned to normal, with only flecks of ash left drifting through the air.

The disciples of the Demonic Domain, who had been locked in a desperate battle with the Primalids, stared wide-eyed at the ash drifting down before them.

"Holy shit... That was the Young Master..."

"The Young Master took action."

"My gods, he’s too powerful. Is... is this the true strength of our Young Master? What level of Cultivation even is that? I can’t make heads or tails of it."

"Damn... If I ever got on the Young Master’s bad side, what kind of death would I even suffer?"

Someone nearby chimed in.

"Is that even a question? You wouldn’t even leave behind a pile of ash."

After a moment of stunned silence, the crowd erupted in cheers, their voices filled with adoration and awe.

"Young Master! Young Master!"

Aaron Sinclair’s gaze swept over them as he said coolly, "Stay humble." But even as he said it, he flashed a peace sign. One moment he was a peerless, elegant master, the next he was a cringey teenager in his chuuni phase. Not that it mattered. Power was all that counted.

"The Young Master is so cool! Young Master, let me get a picture!"

"Young Master, look this way!"

"Aaaah! The Young Master looked at me! He... he’s totally into me!"

"Get lost! He obviously likes me more! I love you, Young Master!"

At that moment, it wasn’t just the Demonic Domain that was reeling.

In the Immortal Domain, the sworn enemies of the fiends, there was only silence. Unlike the jubilant cheers from the Demonic Domain, the Celestials were bewildered, unable to comprehend the situation.

The various forces of the Immortal Sects had been fending off the bugs. Just as countless of their people were being wounded, a voice echoed from the void. The word "Annihilate" manifested, and the grotesque members of the Swarm were instantly reduced to ash.

Their gazes turned toward the Demonic Domain, their hearts filled with questions and bewilderment.

"’Go. Find out exactly what just happened.’"

"’And what was the deal with those bugs?’"

Never mind what the Celestials were thinking; the Demonic Domain was a sea of cheers.

Aaron Sinclair remained hovering in the air.

He simply smiled faintly.

He looked down at his own palm, his heart pounding with excitement.

’This power... It seems I’ve finally mastered it.’

’Thanks, Dad.’

’This was the Power of Laws.’
