After the boss battle was over and we let ourselves bask in the victory, letting out triumphant shout, Sierra abruptly called out for an evaluation meeting.
Just as Sierra said, we had made many mistakes, considering the fact that it was a sudden encounter.
"I really have no excuse for my mistake."
"Don't sweat over it. Anyone can make such mistakes, what's matter is to reflect on it and avoid them from next time."
Sierra encouraged crestfallen Ester. There was no way to do anything about Ester's mistake.
It might have been avoided had I arranged a meeting to share the information beforehand properly, but for better or for worse, the first monster to encounter just happened to be wandering boss.
I had already given them a gist about the Jurra Rex, including the points they had to be careful about and my idea was to share the complete details while we made our way. But because of that, members lacked the complete information and the boss battle turn into a battle of struggle.
Never in million years could I have thought that boss would appear so soon.
Wandering F-BOSS domain was lower floors. In the Dinosaur's Hill dungeon case, it would be from floor 21-29.
But as they usually appeared between floors 23-27, I had completely let down my vigilance and the price of my negligence was this. I had to reflect too.
"I hadn't used my unique skill either. It was the perfect timing to use it. Sigh."
Sighed Sierra.
The perfect timing in Sierra's words was when Ester was in a vulnerable situation due to Down status, with Jurra Rex's target completely turning towards the defenseless Ester.
Though, Sierra had wedged herself in between Ester and Jurra Rex to obstruct the path and brought us the time until Ester had finally recovered, which I thought was just the correct judgement from her part. All that matters was the result.
But Sierra's unique skill Absolute Charm Shield forcibly fixed the target to herself.
In short, it was an absolute type of skill to change the opponent's target from whoever it was directed to, to herself no matter what the situation was. Had Sierra used her unique skill that time, Ester wouldn't have fallen in the pinch in the first place.
Apparently Sierra was remorseful about her misjudgment for not option to use unique skill that time.
"I still have a long way to go. The time to use my unique skill is so limited I still haven't gotten used to it."
"There's no way to do anything about that. You can only get used to it over time."
It was a bit infuriating that I couldn't find any better words to encourage her, but if I hadn't said this either, I would have been lose for words later.
The timing for Sierra to use her unique skill was hard to come by. There's no way but for her to get used to it by herself, rather than explaining verbally.
Besides, the time for her unique skill to truly shine is at advanced dunegon after her equipments are put in order but until then, there's not much turn of it to appear out. Though, in retrospect of that, I hope she can prepare herself for that time for she's going to use it until she's completely sick of using it. I chuckled internally thinking about that time to come.
It was then Lana walked upto us. She had her hands on her waist, it was her pose to say ‘I'm slightly unhappy’. What happened?
"Hey, you can reflect even after returning back. But now's the time to open the treasure chest! Even Hannah has fed out for waiting for so long."
"Goodness, you're right. We're already so short on time to dive into dungeon nowadays, we can left the reflection meeting for later. What say, Sierra?"
"Indeed. Would you accompany for it after returning back?"
"Sure so."
After promising Sierra for later appointment, it was now time for the treasure chest, our reward for crushing the boss!
