Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: Presidential Suite

Just as the two of them were at a loss and exchanging bewildered glances, a gentle male voice suddenly rang out.

"That’s right, it is indeed three presidential suites.

"I saw that you don’t have three rooms left in any other room type.

"Only the presidential suites have enough availability, so I just went ahead and booked three. The number is correct; you can just check us in."

The person speaking was none other than Li Xiao.

Because the booking was made in a rush, and there happened to be a Wandering God event tomorrow, this hotel’s prime location meant many tourists had booked their stays here. As a result, the standard king rooms and even the slightly pricier executive rooms were completely sold out. Even if they weren’t, there were only one or two left. Only the most expensive presidential suites had ample availability, and they were adjacent to each other. Without overthinking it, Li Xiao booked three of them directly. After all, tomorrow’s Wandering God event started at 4:00 a.m., which meant they had to leave just after 3:00 a.m. Li Xiao didn’t want the hassle of having everyone rush to gather from different parts of the hotel tomorrow morning. Furthermore, the presidential suites here weren’t that expensive—less than twenty thousand yuan a night. For someone like him, who was worth hundreds of millions and had tens of millions of cash in his card, this little room fee was practically nothing.

Since they were all standing close to the front desk, Wenchu People naturally heard the conversation between Li Xiao and the others. She opened her mouth, wanting to refuse, but remembering Li Xiao’s earlier remark about the deposit already being paid—meaning the money couldn’t be refunded even if they changed rooms now—she helplessly closed it again. She had always known Li Xiao was a very wealthy second-generation heir, but it was only at this moment that she truly realized exactly how rich he was. Although she technically worked for the government, she was merely a bottom-tier contract worker with a monthly take-home salary of just over six thousand yuan. Let alone three rooms, the cost of just one room was equivalent to her salary for three months. Yet Li Xiao spent it without batting an eye, just for a few hours of sleep. The disparity between them was truly beyond comparison.

After confirming there was no mistake, the front desk receptionist immediately let out a sigh of relief. She quickly got to work and completed the check-in process in just a few moments. Six black cards with gold edges were soon handed over to the four of them. The receptionist offered a polite smile as she explained, "These are your room cards, which also serve as your elevator cards. The presidential suites are located on the thirty-sixth floor of our hotel, and you will need to take a private elevator to access them.

"If you lose your room card, please contact us immediately. We will deactivate the previous authorization right away and issue you a new one."

Once they received their room cards, another receptionist stepped out and approached the group of four. "Good evening, esteemed guests. I am the housekeeping manager for your presidential suites. You can just call me Juzi. If you have any issues during your stay, please feel free to contact me." As she spoke, she handed out four white business cards with black text to them.

After introducing herself, Juzi began to lead the way while explaining the hotel’s facilities and services. Following her pace, they crossed the spacious lobby, and she pointed to a café on the side. "There is a café on the first floor. With your room cards, you can enjoy complimentary pour-over coffee and desserts."

As she gave the introduction, the four entered the private elevator. This elevator only had a few floor buttons. Juzi proceeded to explain the functional areas of each corresponding floor one by one.

"The second floor houses the banquet hall, which is divided into Chinese and Western dining areas. The Western dining area offers complimentary buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while the Chinese dining area provides a twenty-four-hour catering service.

"Inside your presidential suites, you will find corresponding menus and dedicated telephones. If you wish to dine in, you can directly call the kitchen, and our waiters will deliver your meals to your suite.

"The seventh floor is our hotel’s fitness level. Both the fitness center and the indoor swimming pool are located there, and you can access them for free with your cards.

"The thirteenth floor is the leisure area. We offer foot massages, Thai massages, blind massages..."

Juzi’s introduction was unhurried and paced perfectly; just as the elevator doors opened again, her explanation concluded. It was evident that her professional competence as the housekeeping manager for the presidential suites was exceptionally high.

The five of them stepped out of the elevator. The bellboy from earlier was already waiting at the door of one of the suites with a luggage cart full of their bags. Seeing that it was getting late, Li Xiao exchanged a few pleasantries with the other three, agreed to head out at 3:30 a.m., and took his luggage toward the nearest suite.

The overall layout and amenities of this presidential suite were truly impressive. The delicate cashmere carpet felt incredibly comfortable to walk on, as if stepping on cotton. The entire suite was exquisitely designed, with every detail exuding elegance and taste. The living room was spacious and inviting, adorned with luxurious furniture and fine artwork.

Bypassing the privacy screen at the entrance, Li Xiao was greeted by a massive floor-to-ceiling window. It provided a spectacular, panoramic view of the cityscape, allowing him to overlook the entire city’s nightlights as he walked closer. In the center of the living room hung a gigantic crystal chandelier, beneath which sat a luxurious sofa set perfect for entertaining guests. The living room connected to a fully equipped office complete with a computer, telephone, and even a printer and projector; it could easily serve as a temporary workspace for any business needs.

The suite also featured an independent dining room. Exquisite dining chairs surrounded the table, and another beautiful crystal chandelier hung above it, creating an elegant dining atmosphere. The adjoining kitchenette was fully equipped with modern cookware and appliances, perfectly catering to any private dining requirements. Next to the office was a small tea room with a solid wood tea table placed right in the middle. A dazzling array of tea sets and various tea leaves lined the small shelves beside it. Looking at the massive tea table before him, Li Xiao couldn’t help but smile and shake his head. Chaoshan People truly loved tea as much as their own lives.

Next to the tea room was the bathroom, which featured a remarkably large marble bathtub. Li Xiao visually estimated that it was spacious enough for three or four people to bathe in simultaneously. Right beside the tub was a mini sauna, allowing guests to enjoy a flawless sauna experience without ever leaving the room. The bathroom also boasted a huge one-way glass window, so one could soak in the tub while admiring the outside scenery. Adjacent to the bathroom was an incredibly spacious walk-in closet. Li Xiao felt that it could easily accommodate the clothes from not just one, but ten suitcases.

The large bed in the bedroom looked exceptionally inviting. The bedside lighting was soft and comforting, while the sheets and bedding felt luxurious to the touch, emitting a faint, pleasant fragrance. A small lounge area occupied one corner of the bedroom, furnished with a premium armchair and a coffee table—a perfect nook for reading or deep thought.

Since this wasn’t Li Xiao’s first time staying in a presidential suite, he just gave the room a cursory glance before quickly washing up. After blow-drying his hair, he lay down on the bed. Because he had to wake up at 3:30 a.m., he casually scrolled through his phone for a bit before drifting off to sleep.

Unlike his composure, the three traveling with him were feeling a bit nervous. After all, it was the first time any of them had stayed in such a magnificent room.
