“Really?”
Iris Yates felt a surge of nervousness. Of course she wanted to see Nathaniel Monroe—she desperately wanted to know how he was doing now—but she was terrified of angering William Quinn. After all, he was a lunatic who could fly off the handle at any given moment.
“Of course it’s true.” William wasn’t angry. Instead, his blue eyes fixed on her with an intense, burning heat. “But baby, I get jealous. After all, you two had a wedding together. The fact that you still want to see him makes me very uncomfortable. Baby, what can you do to make me feel a little better?”
Iris was rendered speechless. His implication couldn’t have been more obvious. He wanted her to show some sincerity by taking the initiative to get close and please him.
Her eyelashes fluttered. She told herself it was nothing. It wasn’t her first time doing this, anyway. She leaned in and kissed his lips of her own accord. Just as she was about to pull away, he immediately chased after her. He captured her lips, kissing and licking them hungrily, as if trying to suck away all her taste and breath.
Iris instinctively reached out to push him away; she could never handle his overwhelmingly aggressive kisses. However, he caught both of her wrists with a single hand and pinned them above her head. He kissed her even deeper, almost pillaging every corner of her mouth.
“Mmm…”
Iris was suffocating. Unable to bear it, she tried to bite him, but he only caught her tongue and sucked harder. An intense sense of asphyxiation washed over her again, and her vision began to darken.
Just then, he finally let her go.
“I really love you so much, my baby.” William hugged her tightly. His scorching body pressed flush against hers, leaving her in no doubt of his hardness and heat.
Iris didn’t dare move an inch. She gasped for breath, desperately replenishing the air that had been stolen from her lungs. After a long while, William shifted. The slight movement carried a heavy implication.
Iris’s expression froze. “My… my body hasn’t recovered yet,” she stammered.
“I know,” William’s voice was utterly hoarse as he looked down at her. “Baby, help me, okay? I’m aching so badly.” His most beloved baby was right in front of him, yet he couldn’t do anything. Heaven knew how tormented he felt!
Iris stuttered out, “H-how can I help you?”
William grasped her hand and placed delicate kisses on it. “Baby’s hands are very soft. I like them a lot.”
Iris was left utterly silent. She closed her eyes, resigning herself to whatever he guided her to do.
An unknown amount of time passed before his pleased pants sounded by her ear. He praised her with overwhelming excitement, “You’re so amazing, baby. You learn so fast. I love it.”
Iris fell quiet again. She wanted to sew his mouth shut with a needle and thread. But William was extremely keen on expressing his thoughts. Whatever was on his mind in the moment, he would share with his favorite person. As a result, Iris’s ears were flooded with his endless stream of vulgar, dirty talk.
When it was all over, Iris’s hands were completely devoid of strength. Watching him wipe her fingers with intense focus and care, a flash of emptiness crossed her eyes. She was going to be stuck by this demon’s side for the rest of her life. Her heart felt incredibly sad and hollow, with an endless tide of longing surging within her.
She turned her head to look out the window, only to see the iron bars on the balcony. “Do you plan on locking me up on this island for the rest of my life?” she asked.
William pulled her into his arms. “Of course not. I haven’t resolved my business yet, so it would be dangerous for you to go out with me. Once I handle everything, we’ll leave together. When that time comes, we can go wherever you want to go. How does that sound, baby?”
As he spoke, he nuzzled his face affectionately against her cheek, acting exceptionally intimate.
